Victorville is a community in the San Bernardino County Victor Valley, California. Its population is more than 115,000. Aaron G. Lane came to what is now known as Victorville in 1858 and established a way station named "Lane's Crossing." It provided shelter and provisions for people moving through the desert from East to San Bernardino for several years. On today's Turner Road, two miles north from where Interstate 15 crosses the river, Lane's Crossing was on the Mojave River. Victorville city is 73 miles large.
