Temecula is a city located in southwest County Riverside, California, USA. The city is a tourist and resort destination, with the Temecula Valley Wine Country, the Old Town Temecula, the Temecula Valley Polo Club, the Temecula Valley Balloon & Wine Festival, the Temecula Valley Film Festival, the Temecula Valley Film Festival, the Temecula Valley Golf Championships and tourist resort accommodations that contribute to the city's economic growth. It is a part of the city of Greater Los Angeles. The town of Temecula, which forms the southwestern anchor of the Inland Empire region, is about 58 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles. Temecula is bordered to the north by the town of Murrieta and to the south by the Pechanga Indian Reservation and San Diego County. It has an estimated population of over 110,000.
